About Josephine
Currently based in La Crescenta, California, Korean-American flutist Josephine Lee aims to embody the holistic musician, eager to participate in the music-making process whether it's on or beyond the stage.

She is a recent graduate of the Master of Music program at Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied with Lorna McGhee. Josephine completed her undergraduate studies at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with Alexa Still. ​
Recent orchestral engagements include performances with the Civic Orchestra of Los Angeles and the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra. She was also a winner of the National Flute Association's Masterclass Performers Competition and performed at the 53rd Annual Convention in Atlanta, GA.

As a performance librarian, Josephine has held professional appointments at several reputable classical music institutions, including the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and Aspen Music Festival and School. She is dedicated to providing high-quality performance materials for all orchestral musicians, whether they are in-training or active professionals.​
